The Third Man-Irritated review

My first impression of this film is why it is rated so highly.

Yes, the cinematography  is impressive. The acting is believable. The lighting is unique (with some unique lighting angles).

The story is mundane and the only character that elecites my empathy is the Intelligence Corps sergeant and perhaps the actress. But this film nags me and sub-dermally irritates me.

In the absence of a hero on this quest I guess we have to be satisfied with Joseph Cotton’s feeble anti hero.

The chase scene irritates me.
