The Neptune Flyby was created in Cinema and exported as a MOV then imported into Ae.

Enter a captionStarting them together is sub-optimal

The title needs to scroll upwards so the place holder is dragged off screen

Bizarre but the file must be saved as Premier Pro project even though it has not touched that application

Screen Shot 2016-05-01 at 16.59.06

As so often happens with industry leading programmes like Adobe products  one is presented with an incomprehensible message and Hobson’s choice

Screen Shot 2016-05-01 at 16.59.23

The project opened in Premier Pro. No files. No clips.  No hope. Thank you Adobe for another few hours that I will never get back.

Reflection

Waste of time and effort.

So… Work round. Use Premier Pro to create the video.

Import the files, offset them again, trim to size.

Adjust Alpha channel to make the black of the Neptune video transparent

Export as ………………….  Only XML  So Adobe you are now responsible for another irreplaceable period of my life. Because no doubt on a menu deep, deep in the software there will a check box that will solve this problem.

Reflection

Unprintable

Output
